Online Learning Mode Will Continue in Semester II, Academic Session 2020/2021 Until Further Notice
Dear UM Staff and Students,
In line with the recent surge in Covid-19 numbers and the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) released by the National Security Council (MKN), the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE), the University Management has determined that the T&L activities shall be continued online in Semester II, Academic Session 2020/2021 until further notice.
However, the T&L for programmes that require the use of lab, studio and clinical training at the Faculty of Built Environment, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Medicine are allowed to be conducted in the hybrid mode (online and face-to-face). The implementation of the hybrid mode is to ensure that all students who are away from campus including our international students will also be able to access the T&L activities.
In accordance with this approval, all Heads of Academic PTjs will have to ensure that all staff and students comply to the SOPs and instructions issued previously in order to safeguard the safety of everyone in the community especially in the effort to curb the Covid-19.
